Fred Everything 5 years of Lazy Days & After Dark 5 Year Anniversary
PHAM presents the AFTER DARK 5 Year Anniversary with FRED EVERYTHING (Lazy Days • Om • SF • Five Years of Lazy Days World Tour 2011) Fred Everything has been considered a key player in House Music since the mid 90s with over 125 releases under his belt, including 3 artist albums, and 4 cd compilations. His music has sold over 200,000 copies worldwide. His tracks have appeared on over 100 compilations. He also runs his own label, Lazy Days Recordings, out of his new home in San Francisco all while keeping a steady international DJ schedule. Fred has flown over a million miles taking him all around the world to places he never even dreamed of visiting like Moscow, Istanbul, South Africa, Brazil, Japan, Bulgaria, and Honolulu to play clubs like Fabric, Ministry of Sound, Pacha, and Cream, and at festivals such as the Montreal Jazz Festival, Toronto JVC Jazz Festival, and Electric Daisy Carnival. He’s also held down residencies at Stereo (Montreal), Next Door (Honolulu), Footwork (Toronto) and at his own Lazy Days parties (Montreal, London, San Francisco). There’s also the obligatory Winter Music Conference where he has been seen for over 10 years sharing the decks with people like Francois K, Mark Farina and King Britt. Founded 5 years ago, Fred Everything's Lazy Days recordings quickly became recognized for quality House Music. Artists as diverse as Trentemøller, Tortured Soul, Vincenzo, Lovebirds, JT Donaldson, Atnarko, AtJazz, Kruse & Nuernberg, Brett Johnson, and Fred himself have all released tracks through the label, and that's only a start. The label is gaining momentum with their 20th release, marking its 5 years in the business. The anniversary release single features remixes from the catalog by Crazy P, Greg Wilson, Llorca (Art of Tones), as well as house legend Ian Pooley. The compilation Five Years of Lazy Days will be out in April, with a world tour planned through the Fall. with local support from Mercedes & The Architects DJ Matt e Starr & Richie Stax Ryan Walz & Mason Roberts Michael Gabriel & Grasshopper Kepi & Jacob Poe DJ Randy Eljimal & Midwest Express Sound by Alignment Lighting by 1313 Effect Saturday, May 7th • Doors @ 8pm • $7 before 11pm • $10 after lazydaysrecordings.com • myspace.com/fredeverything |
